The incident is playing out at Adebisi Ogunniyi Crescent, Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos State.

The police and the rest reportedly left in anger after the suicidal man, who’s said to be mentally unstable, stuck to his guns despite repeated pleas.

The man was still on the pole as at 3pm, Before the police left, they placed an inflated bouncing castle at the foot of the pole so the man could jump down without breaking a bone.

But the castle was deflated after the police and the others left.

Some are condemning the police and the others for leaving the scene. Others say Nigerians should help raise N5 million donate it to the man so he won’t take his own life.
